Pakistan downed six Indian military aircraft

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has successfully shot down a total of six Indian fighter jets in a significant escalation of regional military tensions. Initially, two Indian jets were downed—one crashed inside Akhnoor, India, and the other within Pakistani airspace. Air intelligence confirms the downed aircraft included one Rafale and one Sukhoi Su-30. Later, a third Indian Rafale jet was shot down by the Pakistan Air Force 17 nautical miles southwest of Awantipora. In a separate incident, a fourth Indian jet crashed in Pampore, adding to the growing losses of the Indian Air Force. Most recently, two more Indian fighter jets have been confirmed downed, bringing the total to six. In response to these severe losses, the Indian Air Force Chief has ordered all combat jets grounded until further notice, citing urgent inspections, internal reviews, and rising operational concerns.
